Refined Undignified (RU) is a Christian contemporary dance group based at Caronport, SK that went to the U.K. as one of our summer GAP teams.

If you were to see a snap shot of our (Friends & Followers) team the other day, you would see us somewhere on the Yellowhead highway jumping the potholes of Saskatchewan. .

On Saturday June 2, a group of Trekkers made their way from base camp at Glennfield, travelling 5, 10, 20 or 30 kilometres through beautiful Fish Creek Park in south Calgary. They went on foot, by bike, even scooter and wheelchair. It was a beautiful day, with just a bit of breeze.

Students from Heritage Christian Academy spent nine days in San Jose, Costa Rica, using the arts to present the gospel to children, youth and adults. God used and impacted the team in a powerful way at a drug rehab centre, a home for adolescent boys, several churches in the slums of San Jose, at a Bible Camp, with youth groups and in the community of Quepos. They were encouraged to see over 19 significant life decisions made during their trip. Commitments were made, forgiveness was found, destinies were changed and healing begun.

A team of young people from Crossfield Baptist Church, led by their youth sponsors and Mark & Cheryl Sorell, used their spring break to serve God in Costa Rica. They saw God's hand at work as they shared about having a relationship with Christ, using the arts in children's and youth programs.

At an orphanage, seven children prayed to accept Christ! The team of 19 also saw God's hand at work as they partnered with Costa Rican young people to share Christ on the street with drug addicts and people disillusioned with church and religion. The team also was able to help build a wall around the Iglesia de Buen Pastor Church camp property which will allow the church to have a much needed ministry to children in the lowlands of Costa Rica.
